The Gold Coast has a comprehensive public transport system consisting of buses, trams, and trains. The G:link light rail service runs from Helensvale to Broadbeach, passing through key areas like Surfers Paradise. TransLink operates the bus and train services, which connect the Gold Coast with Brisbane and other regional areas.
